Everdell

Deep within the charming valley of Everdell, beneath the boughs of towering trees and beside meandering streams, a civilization of forest critters is thriving. After many years of peace, the time has come to settle new territories and establish grand new cities. As the leader of a group of ambitious critters, you are tasked with constructing buildings, meeting lively characters, and hosting grand events before the winter moon rises.

Everdell is a dynamic game of tableau building and worker placement that spans four seasons. Players work to develop their own woodland settlements, balancing their resources to construct the most prosperous city in the valley. The game ends at the onset of the following winter, at which point the player with the highest-scoring city wins.

On their turn, a player can take one of three distinct actions:

- Place a Worker: Players deploy their worker pieces onto various board locations, event tiles, or Destination cards. Workers perform critical development tasks, such as gathering essential resources, drawing new cards, and executing special actions.

- Play a Card: Players build and populate their city by adding up to 15 Construction and Critter cards to their tableau. Cards belong to five unique types—Travelers, Production, Destination, Governance, and Prosperity—which generate resources (twigs, resin, pebbles, and berries), grant powerful abilities, and score victory points.

- Prepare for the next Season: Players recall their workers from the board and gain new workers for the upcoming season, unlocking new strategic opportunities as the year progresses.
