Trio

nana—later re-released as Trio—is a quick-witted deduction and set-collection card game where players compete to locate hidden triplets of identical numbers. The deck consists of 36 cards, featuring numbers 1 through 12 repeated three times each. Players hold a sorted hand of cards arranged strictly from lowest to highest, while the remaining cards lie face-down in a shared central pool on the table.

On a player's turn, they attempt to reveal matching cards one by one by calling out either the lowest or highest card from any player's hand (including their own) or flipping a face-down card from the center. If the first two revealed cards match, the player continues their turn by attempting to find the final matching card; if the numbers differ at any point, all revealed cards return to their original locations and the turn ends immediately.

Successfully revealing all three matching cards allows the active player to claim the set and place it in front of them. Victory can be achieved in several ways depending on the game mode:

- Standard Victory: Secure three complete sets before any opponent.

- Instant Win: Instantly win the game by uncovering the set of 7s, or by collecting two sets whose numbers add up to or subtract to 7 (such as 4s and 11s).

- Spicy Mode (Trio): Shift the focus to high-stakes set combinations, where players win by collecting the 7s or securing two 'linked' sets specified on victory cards.

- Team Play (Trio): Compete in pairs in four- or six-player matches, coordinating card calls and sharing victory requirements with a partner.
